Graph and relationships

The Graph shows your pages and sessions as a map of connections. It draws two very different kinds of line:

Line Meaning Who creates it
Dashed Mention — the page is named in that note Chronexus, from your [[ links
Solid, with an arrow and a label Relationship — something you believe is true You, explicitly

Declaring a relationship

A relationship goes from one page to another and has:

  • a label ("serves", "is the sister of", "owes money to");
  • a certainty: confirmed, suspected, disproven or unknown;
  • an optional source — the session, page or exact paragraph where you learnt it — plus evidence and notes.

Press Save relationship to store it. While a relationship form is open, Chronexus does not let you navigate away by accident. Deleting a relationship asks for confirmation and never touches pages, notes or mentions.

Exploring

  • The graph opens on a readable map of up to 18 nodes. Show all nodes and Layout → Organic reveal more.
  • Filters: node type, mentions or relationships, certainty, title/alias, source session, and "neighbours within 1–2 steps" of a selected page.
  • Click a node to highlight its connections and open it; click a line to see its source and evidence.
  • A view shows at most 150 nodes and 400 lines; when filters need narrowing, Chronexus tells you how many were left out.
  • An accessible list shows the same content for keyboard and screen-reader use.
